Triple Purpose Pledge
We recommend that any business claiming to adhere to Triple Purpose Principles needs to create a written commitment to the Triple Purpose Strategy. This ‘Pledge’ will need to be agreed by ALL the staff in addition to the Board and will be prominently displayed throughout the premises.
Each business will create its own Pledge. However, an example could be:
“Company X” is a Triple Purpose Company committed to doing business in a fair and sustainable way where social and environmental considerations are an integral part of the business strategy, decision-making process and daily life. We, the undersigned and all our staff agree to the Triple Purchase Pledge.
We pledge to uphold the principles of Triple Purpose and agree to communicate the culture throughout the company at all times.
We confirm the Company Mission Statement, set out in the Company Constitution, clearly states its collective Triple Purpose responsibilities to its employees, shareholders, customers, other stakeholders and to the wider community.
We confirm we have installed management systems to measure Triple Purpose objectives on a regular basis and ensure the results are communicated to all employees and relevant stakeholders.
the company will strive to ensure its staff are happy in their jobs. They will be motivated, well-trained, safe, have equal opportunities, a fair work-life balance and are fairly paid.
all staff should behave responsibly and treat each other, the company and other stakeholders with respect, integrity and compassion at all times.
no member of staff will undertake, or be asked to undertake, any illegal or unethical behaviour. There is an easily accessible and confidential helpline available for complaint.

A Triple Purpose Company will give due consideration towards investing in its staff, training, health and safety, the environment, R&D and the local community with long-term sustainability of the company as the strategic objective.
